I saw that on the forums. Nice job, David!!!
Is the link above working for anybody? I'm just getting a blank page...
Rhayader - the link is really long which may be causing problems with your browser. It's working in my browser (Safari on Mac OS X). Their web site is mauitime.com and they have a link to the article from there.
Hmmm, yeah the link didn't work for me in Firefox or IE -- of course what does work in IE? No matter, I found it from the homepage. This link is working for me, I'll post it in case others are having issues:http://www.mauitime.com/Articles-i-2010-01-14-72120.113117_David_Bratzer_and_Law_Enforcement_Against_Prohibition_Have_Fought_in_the_Trenches_of_the_War_on_Drugs_and_Want_to_End_It.htmlAnyway, great job with the discussion David; it's great that readers are being exposed to ideas like this originating from law enforcement. Also, congrats on your marriage!

Hmm, well the link is copying correctly in the comment text box, and is showing up correctly in the comment preview window, but is being truncated in my actual comment. My bad.Like I said though folks, if the link isn't working for you, follow David's advice in comment #3 and navigate to it from the homepage.
OK I've updated the link now to what Rhayader suggested. Sorry about that - it should work now.
Wonderful David and congratulations new husband. She's a lucky lady, now take out the trash! Am sending this to a friend in the deep south who is super anti legalize drugs. We have civil conversations occasionally about it and hopefully he'll start to grasp and understand the horrors of Prohibition better through my efforts. Also bought some new furniture this week and had a conversation with the sales person. Gave them the LEAP site information. Will also be sending him a thank you note with the cards 'Christians Against Prohibition' has so graciously put on his site for those interested. When I was leaving the furniture store he said to me, "legal marijuana would certainly make my life easier".See Rhayader, I'm not the only one who keeps having troubles. And yes, a name change, to protect the innocent.
So far, there are NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS on that site! We need to keep preaching the anti-drug war message, to whomever we can get to listen! It is time to end it!
A Big Island "Mahalo" (thank you) to Dave for visiting us. We met 6 out of 9 County Council members, a woman from a Youth Crime Prevention group, one class and one public event at UH Hilo. Thank you for brining your powerful message, and sharing it with us. Although not everyone you met will agree, or change their mind, you have made an impact on everyone. A hui hou (until we meet again).
metabolism, I'm glad you are able to use them! I don't leave home without them! :-) Gotta make the world a better place, even for people like "Holy Roller."Good luck Matt!
